This is by far one of the best albums to come out of Seattle in a long time. The entire CD plays like a great, dark movie with underlying rumblings of hope that break through the intensity of the sometimes somber but somehow uplifting music. You have to listen from beginning to end to get the full effect. Although one could compare the sound to other bands, OMNI has the ability to not stand in anybody's shadow.
Well worth the listen.
